Carbon fiber JBR hat repair

We broke a pretty good size piece off our hat this weekend don't really have time to ship back. It's been suggested to use Dp420 by 3m until we can maybe over winter send out. Anyone else used this ? Good results ?

it's headed to Mike Janis 's Mike jr said he'd help us out.
They always do as they are the best. Just looking for second options to help out if need be.
