What rules? Any overdrive limits? What kind of car is it going on? How much to be spent on it?

No rules just has to be 14-71

    No OD limits

Not looking for a 35-40k blower, but understand it can be a little pricey (i.e. Not 3-5k either)

    Examples being

    Dmpe m5
    Hammer
    Etc?
Is there stuff out there much better than these?
I see all pro mod cars are limited to run low OD, do they make good choices for that reason? And possible get one reasonable when they are updating!!

Well the $35k blowers are designed mainly for low OD rules such as NHRA Promod. You can’t spin them fast because the boost will roll over. I think the best off the shelf high OD blower out there is the Littlefield LB-22.

And this is what I am talking about - this blower you mention is $8,100 where as an M5 is 16k. Is the one that much better than the other? Has anyone ever had similar on similar car? Are we talking tenths better in performance? Hundreds or not even??

We just had a customer buy an LB-22 high helix, he did a head to head dyno test with one of those 18K blowers, all they did was swap blowers during the test, the LB-22 was just a little over 100 HP less, Needless to say he was very happy he saved over 10K for such a small difference

That's interesting. I wonder what the difference is? Not going to pay an extra $10k to find out though, lol.
