I stripped a plug out and installed a Heli Coil brand repair insert at the track but wasn't all that impressed with the repair. I was thinking of ordering the Time Sert brand kit. Are they any good? Still problems with the Loctite failing after heated? Or should I pull the head and have it welded and re-tapped??

    Plugs are
    14mm
    .750" reach

Time serts are a really good repair. Did it on my chevy and it lasted quite a some time welding a head takes some time and will require a valve job or possibly new seats depending how hot it gets. I'd would use the time serts for the rest of your season and repair it in the off season.
