All of them ran pretty good, even the DNQ bunch had a good effort.,TAFUR was on a good one until the front came up and got on the bar, which brought out the tire smoke. and LAMPLOUGH was on one too until the trans quit.HORNER did qualify with a 5.69 in his chevy, but came back to the pits to find a broken crank.FOLEY got in as the alternate, but had to run BARTONE!

eh i forgot to say what happened to Lamplough. being as Atco isnt the best track in Div 1 behind US 13, when in the staging lanes there is a small hill that usually bottom's out the dragsters body. so you have to be really careful getting up in the lanes. we were pretty prepared this year and even tried to jack the car off the hill. alot of other teams were having the same problems. well to make a long story short the airline for 3rd gear got pulled off the tranny from the bottoming out. the air was on all was good. launched the car hit a .904 (i think) 60' and was on a run. hit 3rd gear and she nosed over dead in the water. :( computer showed that we were very close to the .45 pass we made at E-Town last year. Steve said it would of been a .46 - .51 pass by the increments.

    we just need alittle luck...lol
