Are those the tires that Goodyear made for the fuel cars, and then kicked them to the curb?;)

Didn't Steve Faria try something like that on his TAD, about 12 or 15 years ago?

I think they are a new M/T Tire that he's proven to work,

Jeff usually visits here, so, he'll answer when he does.

ELI, the tires do grow, but not as much as the standard tire. They start taller and end up just a bit shorter.

Jim, those are 24" rims, yes the look different. Sometimes different is good:D

Need to anodize or powdercoat the rims black, and leave the centers polished then it would look better.

Spinners, now that's funny. How exciting would that be to have one come off at 250 MPH!

The wheels I'm running were made years ago, so I don't have a maker. There is a company set to make the next generation of wheels. Stay tuned.

    old is new again

the last time I saw tire & wheels like that was on a top fuel dragster in spokane at an ahra fuel race. "the birkey bunch" name comes to mind. they had afew sets of them, almost bought a set. that was 20 years. glad to see progress is moving along. I thought then and many times about the tires after some of the tire explosions I've seen. always thought there was to much growth. would look good on a funny, lowered, dingo balls, chrome steering wheel;)
