    Didn't she run in the sixties last year with O'Bannon and a fathead? I saw on the entry list last week was a BNR motor and thought this car is a whole new deal. Is this someone else's car she brought Patron money to?

    Alexis has teamed up with her fiance' Nick Bastaio to run a car tuned by Bob Newberry.

    Yes, they were running .60's towards the end of last year.

    You are correct Will and later this year they are planning on bring out a second car.
    That was Alexis's best outing very consistent and was going quicker and faster every pass, what more could you want.:cool:

    Yes They ran a 5.69 and a 5.66 @ world finals with Obannon!

    I think Nick and Alexis have done great. I have run her a couple times already this year and she's doing very well. Professional and a hard worker on her car as well. She is definately earning her stripes. Hope they do well but a half a car length behind me....

    I enjoyed hearing her emotion in the TV interview from Gainesville.

    Although I don't really know her that well I watched her here in division 7 over the last couple years as she went through some difficulties. She just needed some confidence (which she seems right on track for) and I think she will do great.

    Yup!

    I actually had the pleasure of talking to both Alexis and Bob at Bradenton. To say that team has money is an understatement (I'm looking for sponsorship ;).) BUT that has nothing to do with the fact that they are all genuine people and SUPER nice. She is a damn good driver that was plagued by problems for quite a while. Now that Bob is on board, and she has Nick to help her, THAT GIRL IS ON FIRE!! She finally has the chance this season to prove that she can drive- rock on girl!
    And yes, they told me there will be a second Patron car. (No, I will not be driving it, haha)
