Air shifter lines what do I use?

I am plumbing my B&J 3 speed. I have a B&J steering wheel button system and plumbing to an SAE column manafold. What are you guys using from the wheel to the manafold? Steel braided lines or the quick release plastic lines? Where do I buy the hard line to the trans? Is this the same as Stainless hard brake line?
Also any SAE manafold users.. Should the orings be lubed? What type of lube?
Please let me know what is working for you. Where to purchase etc.
