We all know that the Fathead, Veney, Dart and Newberry head, etc. were all designed for blown applications, which is why when you try to use these in a normally aspirated engine, they don't make any power. They don't make power because there is no choke or venturi effect to speed up the port velocity. This isn't needed with a blower. What does evrybody think would happened if you had Pro stock style hemi head on an A/Fuel motor???

I have wondered about this myself and went as far as contacting some head specialist concerning it.
Found out that it would be really expensive to modify existing heads for a-fuel and the ones that are available are not billet. Guess we will know the answer soon though as Allen Johnson is now making billet heads that are suppose to use the same valve train components as the BAE fat head but with naturally asperiated ports. I am sure this wan't go unnoticed by the injected fuel guys. I would would sure like to test them.
