Has anyone ever tried a 477 deal (or close) in a blown P/M?

Thinking around 4.500 bore and 3.750 stroke, and raise the rpm's.

How did it work out for you? Pros/Cons?

Strictly outlaw, no particular rules. C-screw. Mixture of 18th and 1/4.

    Thx.

Funny you should ask, I was looking at the qualifying sheet the other day from the west coast pro mods and there are several people 5 or 6, that are claiming some where in the 452-482, which I thought to be odd, but then again I'm not familiar with their rules package either. Most fast alky dragsters run a 471-477 just like your thinking.

From what I have learned from a few of the top alky guys is they shift between 11,200-11,500 because anything lower slows them down and if it is ran with less rpm it takes longer to get back in the power band..
