2004 NHRA Pro Mod World Champion Mike Ashley to compete at the WAR Thunder Nationals.

West Olive, Michigan May 10, 2005- Pro Mod World Champion Mike Ashley has pre entered the WAR Thunder Nationals with his Torco Racing Fuels Mustang and is planning to do battle in our “Take No Prisoners” style of racing. As the 2004 World Champion, Mike is one of the many “Heavy Hitters” taking advantage of being involved with WAR, the “Fastest Growing Organization in the World”. “We are thrilled to have high caliber racers like Mike Ashley joining our organization as together we will achieve our goal of being the “Greatest Show on Wheels”, states Mike Husen, President of WAR. The WAR Thunder Nationals is scheduled for May 14, 2005 at the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin Michigan. Gates open at 11 with open qualifying at 1 and 4. The first round is scheduled for 7 with a spectacular fireworks display following the final round.

Tickets are $20 with children 6 – 12 $7. Children 5 and under are free.
