I am thinking about investing in a 16 volt battery and charger. I am currently running 2 red top optima gel batterys. Has anyone run one of these 16 volt batteries? Any info would be helpful.

i absolutly will not go back to a 12v battery since experiencing my 16v set up. I have had it for almost 2 years now. Everything runs better, starts better, etc. no need to step anything down. You do have to buy a 16v charger, but well worth the investment. I did not have a problem with my 12v red top with an alternator, but still have the 16v stuff on the car for now and the future. I went with The "V" battery and charger. Really nice stuff.
