I looked into this last summer. I believe your 2 choices are a 1595 or a 1705. The 1595 to get your od you want, has to use relatively small pulleys, which may reduce belt reliability. The 1705 on the other hand has to use a larger diameter pulley combo, which I feel is better, but the pulleys were custom order at the time. I ended up using an 8mm combination with a 1600mm belt. I believe the 11mm is the way to go if pulleys are available.

Wasn't the 11MM the hot ticket for Top Fuel with a 14-71? It takes more ummph to turn a roots than a screw. I think a lot of the screw guys use a 8MM belt and pulley combo. I know I do and have no issues with it. I do run the 84MM wide belt in the GT configuration though.

    Belt

Ya the 8 mill will make more power but I can't afford to change them every few runs the 2 step is tuff on them. On my budys screw 481x he can go 2 seasons on 1 belt!

x2. 1705 will let you have around a 60t pulley on the bottom. 11mm lives good. The ADRL guys complain about the weight of 11mm setup.
