I have an older SPE set up with 11/16" drive studs. I'm having a difficult time finding wheels that will fit them Seems like most of the wheels today are made for 5/8" drive studs? The wheels I have are ConvoPros with tubes and liners and I'd like to go to a beadlock wheel. I bought a set of Weld centers and they will not fit over the shanks. Do I machine the centers to accommodate the larger drive studs?

    Help is appreciated.

my drive studs are 5/8, but they have an 11/16 non threaded shoulder that the wheel slips over. So, yes the wheels are for a 5/8 stud, but they have an 11/16 hole. The non threaded portion on the stud is so the threads don't dig into the wheel. You might want to call the wheel company to confirm this. Tom.
