    Hi Guy's
I am building a tube chassis 65 Barracuda with a blown Chev for power with a B&J and a clutch.
Going for the early S/FX look.
I am now worried about having enough tire under it as the horsepower has increased dramatically from what we had first planned.
I don't have clearance for a huge tire under the back and am wondering about picking up some 10 inch beadlocks like the Nostalgia Top Fuel Guy's run.
Does anybody know how wide a tire can go on a 10 inch rim?
    Thanks

Don't want to give you bad info, but I would assume you could get a 12 in tire on them. don

Its good to hear another S/FX car is coming to life.

    I run a 63 plymouth, we use 31.25x12.2x15's on a 10 inch rim.

They arent very happy with it, but they work.

Best time so far is a 7.99 @ 170, still having a few issues getting it to 60' for shit.

What class are you going to run in and where?

Thanks for the info on the tires.
That is what we will most likely do as well.
We are in Southwestern Ontario a couple hours from Toronto.
Fortunately we have 3 tracks within 1 1/2 hours from home and will probably spend quite a bit of time just getting used to the car there.
I drove a Super Gas car in the late 80's and since then the fastest car I have driven is my Volkswagon!!!
We are hoping to hit some of the reunions at some point and was hoping to get some match races set up as well.
    Where do you guy's race?
Is there an S/FX club that you belong to?

    Thanks

    Jason..

We race with the NPCA, its a small nostalgia circuit here in the midwest, they run a index style deal, from 7.00 to 11.00 in .5 second indexes.

Depending on your horsepower and car wieght, it might be a handfull with skinny tires, just watch yourself.
