You can get away with a 10.5" disc in a 10.7" clutch, but I would not recommend trying the 10" discs in there. The plate loads in a 10" clutch are designed to be a little higher than what you would see out of a 10.7" just because of the size differential. Imagine your clutch is a breaker bar, the further you get from the center load, the more leverage you get. That being said, 2 turns on a 10.7, with the heavy Pro Mod spring is equal to 1224 lbs of base, which on your 10" is 30% higher. You won't have near the tuning window trying to use the 10" in a 10.7. I'd try to sell the 10.7 and get a spare 10" if it is working well for you.

    10"to10.7 3 disk

    thanks justin at ace
so if i run then 10 " at 2t base with #6 heavy springs and
.220 tafc fingers with no counter weight
what would the 10.7 clutch be set at with 10.7 disks and
2t base with heavy #6 springs and .220 tafc fingers no counter
    weight
both run 2 lu fingers with 18.1 grams each turned loose at 2 sec.
the 10 "ive got a good handle on
the 10.7 i have a lot of parts for it and its nearly new
im thinking 1 turn base and possibly 4 lighter fingers and leave
    the lockup fingers alone
i guess i should use my davenport prograhm for this and compare
baseline with one to the other
sorry for all the questions trying to use what i have
    any input would help
    thanks
    duane
