I don't. the oil builds heat pretty quick. I can watch the oil pressure gauge for it to drop to it's normal hot range and my crew chief watches...
When i start mine, the pump immediately comes back about 1/2 way. It'll idle @ 1900-2000, i trim it until it's about 2300-2400 and let it build...
I have used everything from 2 stroke to 90w. Currently it has the same 60w that goes in the crank case (per littlefield).

Arguably one of the best rods on the market. In my opinion (which ain't worth anything) MGP & GRP are the leaders.

Littlefield is a competition blower, not an LB.
I've updated my blower. My Mooneyham had been maintained but wasn't ever restripped. It was very loose. At 25 over it would make 16-17#s max.
My next wheelie bar will use it. I see a bunch of them @ the track.

I use the manifold Brendan has. It is the best blower manifold for a SBC i've ever had. Zero issues.
