It appears that alcohol classes have had their purses increased dramatically.

If a team qualifies for TF/TFFC they get $9000.
If they oil the track they get fined $500.
    That's 5.56%.

Now in Alcohol, if you oil the track you get fined $250.
    Divide by the above 5.56%.
So the new payout for qualifying is $4500.

This is half of the TF/TFFC purse which is great for all of us! So now the winner of TAD/TAFC must get $20,000 since TF/TFFC winners get $40,000.

I for one would really like to thank Mr. Light for how much he does for the class. This is so great. Happy day.

Lets see if I have this correct?
If you are a pro and you oil down the track (X) amount of times you get fined and are deducted points.
If you are a sportsman and you oil down the track (X) amount of times you are fined, deducted points and disqualified from the event.
    Seems fair right? WRONG!!!!
    Screw NHRA and there bullsh$t
Support your local tracks, match racing, UDRA & Nostalgia Racing & bring the fun back to drag racing.

Actually, NHRA is contemplating this exact kind of purse for next season. They already have the sponsors and pay structure complete. All they need to finalize the deal is agree on which event we will be allowed to compete.

I thought the $250 fine was for a 3rd offense at the same race? I didn't realize NHRA changed that!

Sorry! I didn't Catch Will Hanna's other thread.
