Does anyone have experience (good or bad) using Gibtec Pistons in a blown alcohol hemi?

Well if you can get a response from them. CP would be my 1st choice.

I just remember talking with them at pri and by the time you put options on the piston it was crazy expensive. Like $250 a piston. And I thought diamond piston was bad.

If nobody knows anything about Gibrec pistons then I would stay with known brands that have a good reputation.

Agreed Mike. They are in the same building as GRP rods and Winberg cranks (V Gaines companies), so I thought they might be of the same quality. But I'll stick with a known brand. Thank you

I have a new set of pistons on order from CP. Somebody dropped the ball on the order and they are remaking them. I was talking to a good friend last week and they have used CP, Diamond, and Gibteck. He said they have had issues with all three, mostly related to service. He also said they have tried a couple of others, but didn't mention names. For my money, I will probably stay with the CP's as I have been using for twenty years.

As was said earlier, I have had issues with their communication. I waited for a week and a half to get an answer about something.
