I have a blown hemi and have used Brad penn oil since the beginning. But they have doubled the price of oil and it’s not the same oil it once was. So what oil are you using and how much are you paying for it.

I think JR1 has 70w available now. I run the 50w and love how it will not absorb alkywater.

I switched over from Valvoline to OnGuard and really like it. I had to use Lucas with the Valvoline to maintain pressure but OnGuard doesn't need it.

Their site is here: https://www.onguardengineoil.com, quite a few ProMods, alky FC's and nitro TAD's use it.

We are lucky enough to have product support from LUCAS , so I couldnt tell you how much it is. I do know that they have a "racers price" quite often though. We use the 70wt , Oil stabiliser on the valve gear and extreme valve train grease (blue) on the push rod cups. All VERY GOOD products

Torco 60wt (not hot enough in the UK to need 70wt). We change bearings every year although they could go again. No point giving supplier and price as we're not in the US. Torco assembly lube on the valve train - we've (slightly) burnt 5 pushrods in 10 seasons...

I'm a fan of the Lucas 60 Plus. I think it retails for $117 for $5 gallons. Pretty sure you can get it from Jegs or Summit in the 5 qt jugs for $37.99. As much as they pump back into our sport, it feels good supporting them.

I use 60 plus as well with the addition of a quart of lucas stabilizer. right or wrong who knows. Change every race - be it 5 runs or 8 runs. Prob overkill but oil is cheap

I have been running the 60 Plus in Derek Purvis' screw blown Top Dragster. We change it after two runs, but cook it out then reuse it. We top the jug back to 20 qts with new but I make a note of oil pressure at 5.0 seconds on the racepak and it's been the same every run from new to cooked.

Cleanboast is hands down the best oil out there and a majority of the alcohol teams all run it now. They also make an additive for many of the Lucas sponsored alcohol cars to run so that they don’t have oil issues. Brent is a racer and is awsome to deal with and very reasonable on price.
