Chamber cc, number of intake bolts, number of exhaust bolts, intake and exhaust size is only a start. Many variations. Find an old timer fuel racer close by.

Old timers are basically non existant around here in East Texas. I was just curious if there was a quick way to ID them since they don't have the letters on the ends of the heads. I have been told that they are BAE heads. Sounds good to me. Either way they are the ones that I am going to use. LOL.

Will have to get some pics of the outside of the heads. Outside of head is all machined, like a billet head. 10 bolt intake and 10 bolt exhaust. Was told they are Brad 3 fuel heads. Was also told they are Vinney's. No idea. Just curious.

This is a pic before installation. Hard to see in car with motor plates and stuff. Maybe this will help. If not maybe I can do something else. Thanks.

450339100chipster_013.jpg This is the best I can get. Everything is in the way for a good pic. The exhaust ports are rectangle. 2" tall by 2.5" wide. Got gaskets from RBS. says they fit BAE,AJPE, and Dart.

    hi all!
having just read the "cost of running" thread,i have questions about the valvetrain in my old heads:what manufacturer do i go to to buy rocker arms for my stuff?
how do i determine the right ratio?
not all my exhaust rockers are roller(6/8 are)and none of the intake rockers are...this setup is as bought.

i take the opportunity to wish you all the best for 2019!!

My fuel head rockers are all from Stage V - rollers everywhere and look to be decent pieces.

If you havent figured out your heads, You can look up these header flange plates from good vibes and get close. Each plate page has a printable dimension drawing that is handy.
