I like the idea of this class but I think the 3.66 is too fast. I would like to see a 3.80 or, at most, a 3.75 which would make it possible for chevy's and hemis to qualify. We have a couple cars that can run the 3.66 but have a lot of maintenance to do after the race. I can't see making it a hemi class.

That's the goal. Without a cap, it would get into the 3.60-3.7 zone real quick in our air down here. Right now, there are no cars really set up for heads up 1/8 mile stuff outside of door cars. There are plenty of 3.90 cars in the area and a few have run 3.80's, so I figured that's a starting point.

sounds like a great deal, Im in the final stages of finishing up my A/fuel car, sounds like a great place to work out my combo and learn how to run it kinda cost effectively in the 1/8 mile format.
