BBC in an OLLD Prostocker. The drivers side lower bolt wants to be in the same spot as the steering shaft. Not many options for moving the rack. Any great ideas before I start cutting on this really pretty rcd support??

Is it literally just the bolt or the standoff & plate as well? If it is just the bolt head, maybe you could use an allen drive flathead of socket head capsrew.

Did some wiggling with the rack mount and it's close to working. I can get a just long enough bolt to go into the standoff now. thinking I can graze the front plate with a flapper so the steering shaft isn't rubbing. Only real problem now is the "lock bolt" on the steering shaft hits the standoff for the crank support. I either have to make slot in he standoff or try to make the lock bolt lower profile somehow. Been a long time since I worked on something with doors so not use to this stuff.

I was thinking if there's a different brand support that is a little narrower at the bottom maybe I could trade in instead of messing up this rcd piece, but it's close enough now I think I can make it work.
