I've had great luck with Bullet nitrous cams designed by Mark. They ruined one of them by regrinding to the specs you listed above. It wasn't terrible but it was noticeably slower.

Tell Mark you want a cam for a 582 big chief motor with 2 big kits but you want to keep the lift down.

286 on the intake and 305-310 on the exhaust, 850-880 intake lift and 820-860 exhaust lift. On a 116 or maybe 116.5 if you want to wind it up. Installed around 112-114. Will be at least .05 quicker than the stick they're trying to sell you and those lobes will be user friendly.

I think it was John that I dealt with when they reground one of Marks cams to the specs you listed. He was supposed to just clean up some minor damage, but I mentioned that it was in a blower motor so he decided he was going to "make it better." I only deal with Mark since then.

Regardless of who designed it, that's not enough exhaust lobe for a Chevy. They'll tell you that any more exhaust lobe will blow all the boost out the pipe, but A. Not true and B. Exhaust gas left in the chamber doesn't burn

Most people kill springs from lack of valve train control. And chevys are hard on valve train. You have to weld , pin and auxiliary bolt the stands down to make everything happy. 1/2 push rods help also. I had a 10,000 rpm 2400hp Chevy and Pac spings would last 40 runs.

I have basically the same engine you have 540" deal. My cam is about the same duration. Lift is .90 intake and .885 exhaust. As stated the chevy's seem to like exhaust lift. Plus a 116" LSA would not be a bad idea. I went with the double swap also. It was ground by Steve at LSM.

No cam expert just relaying what my specs are for comparison
