Hi, Doing some homework for next year.

Which brands of trailers and series of trailers have you guys had good luck with? I will be towing a pro mod, tow vehicle, and all the tools. Looking at no bigger than 34 ft standard or stacker and probably tag style if that matters in regards to quality. I will be looking for units under 30k.

Also anyone had any dealings with Right trailers Inc out of Lakeland, FL?

Thanks ahead of time for the input,
    Trevor Sherwood

I do not know what brand of trailer is best suited for your needs but I can tell you that I bought a new custom spec'd 44' Pace fifth wheel trailer and the build and quality is so poor that I have regretted it since the day I brought it home. Just saying.

I agree.^^^^^! I bought a forest river one all decked out and the quality is awful. By far the most bang for the buck but I have a hard time loading in my trailer. It sits up like a monster truck. I have the longest loading ramps possible and still have issues. I had a 99 classic trailer and I swear it’s twice the trailer of this one for quality. Fn walls aren’t even square! These companies are all owned by sale people under different names. Forest river goes by several different names in other states. Quality is still same, piss poor!!!

Thanks for sharing that, Pace was one of the ones I was going to consider until now. It's looking like maybe Haulmark edge pro series, any experiences?

Years back we had Haulmark. We joked it was the edge cause you cut yourself on the sharp edges everywhere. I’d find a used T&E or a real Gold Rush if I was shopping

Hi Mark, Thanks for the input. A friend of mine has an 05 Haulmark so I can go look into that. I may even be buying that one a little down the road. I looked into Goldrush and I couldn't find anything in my price range that wasn't from the 80's, I'm on a fixed income I'm afraid. T & E seems like the price may be a little closer though I didn't find any that were not huge or high $$$ lifgate stacker deals on RacingJunk anyway. One with a dragster lift but that was all.

I have a 44' vintage and it is a very nice well built trailer. Pulls well, easy loading, has a bathroom and shower, compressor, onan generator triple axel paid like 46k

Buy a good brand like T&E used if new isn't in your budget. When you're done with it you'll get your money back selling it because they hold their value. I did. I bought two of Mike Troxel's T&E trailers over the years and never had an issue with either one of them. 15 years ago we sold Dennis Taylor our first T&E and he still says he will never part with it. I've owned two of them and never lost a dime reselling them after years of use. Of course we took good care of them. Nothing worse than going cheap, because fixing trailers on the side of the road or at the track instead of racing stinks.

Hi Randy, Thanks for the info. I will keep my eyes peeled for a T&E but not sure if the budget will allow. I have a friend who may make me a great deal on a loaded Haulmark but he can't sell it until mid next year so we will have to see what comes up and if I can finish my car.

Agree T&E or goldrush are probably your safest bet. I have also owned a high end Vintage and it was very well built and never had an ounce of trouble with and the price was easier to stomach. My current trailer is an older Dominator Classic which in my opinion was one of the best reasonably priced trailers on the market but believe they have closed up shop.

I think I have spoken with Brian in the past and he was just here for the snowbird nats. I forgot all about that he does trailer sales. Will be giving him a call when the time comes, thanks.
