WTB 3.5 diff gears suit Strange 12

I am trying to track down a set of 3.5 ratio diff gears to suit a 12" Strange nitro rear end. NHRA requested Strange make some 3.5 ratio 12" gears a few years back when they were looking at slowing the cars down. I purchased a set from Strange a few years ago and they don't know where the other six sets are now. Does anyone know who may have purchased them so I can get a hold of them?

Tim Wilkerson was involved in some of the testing to slow them down. Maybe try him.

 

I did reach out to Tim and he said he never had any. I also reached out to NHRA and Dan Olsen but no one has been able to help. When I purchased the one set, Strange still had six sets left. They did a major clean up and may have thrown them out. They don't have any part numbers on them so they can't even track them down in their sales records to see if they have sold them.

 

I asked too..... No go.

 

I can get them made by Rave but the price is up there for a single set. Multiple sets and the price comes down drastically off course. It would be disappointing if Strange threw out 6 sets of gears. If they did sell them was hoping this ad might have helped to track them down.

 

Don't think they are interested....

They aren't making gears for the 12" anymore.

 

How much a set of Rave gears? I would be interested in 2 sets.
