Ngk 5671 used in pro extreme cars

    I've heard some people have quit running the 6061 plug and went to a Chevy style 5671 plug in pro extreme classes. Also I've seen first hand a twin turbo Hemi run them over the weekend without a single problem. According to him nothing changed in the tune up what so ever. Scruggs , Taylor,Stevens .... Are all said to be using those. If it's true that's a hell of a lot easier on wallet at 1.25 per plug versus 4.50 per plug

    5671 reads a little hotter. I think the 6061 exists mostly because of monkey see from fuel cars.

    The only difference is really the length of the ground strap. The shorter ground strap in the 6061 is more forgiving if you screw up on the fuel mixture or the timing. A -10 is a -10 in either plug and no power gain by using either one, just safety.
