Any of you guys pulling 2000 lbs approx cars with golf carts?

Is the gas powered the only way to go or are do the electrics have enough power?

Let me know what the experiences are.

    thanks!

We have used our gas Club Car golf car to pull the funny car 2300 Lbs with driver. Stock golf car no mods does a decent job just not very quick but pulls no problem.

I've had both gas and electric yamaha g 29s

Electric is the way to go more power and we have our second starter plugged into the 48volt carts batteries.

    48 Volt?

are all electrics 48 volt or are there older 24 or 36Volt carts? ??

sounds like either Gas or 48 V work fine just wondering if older electrics are lower voltage. I don't play golf...

    thanks

    Gas cart

We used our old gas cart to pull around our 6200lbs truck from time to time when we had blacktop or concrete pit areas. You be surprised how many bets you can win pulling other tractors with a golf cart. Not sure if you have to cross scales or anything it may have trouble getting your car up onto scale if your not rolling when you hit the scales.
