Looking for a 12 volt pump to transfer Methanol from barrels to jugs, with out breaking the racing budget. Does anyone have any recommendations.

    Fuel Transfer

I use one from Harbor Freight that is air operated. Uses something like .2 pounds of air pressure to push the fuel out into the jugs. Item #93755 $65.00
Has it's own regulator and safety pop off. I couldn't ask for an easier way to fill the jugs.

I use an old Enderle 110 pump that I use with a impact gun.

    Fuel transfer pump

Curved tube that goes ALMOST to the bottom of the barrel,
like a manual transfer pump with a ball valve in it

Put a Schrader valve on the other bung on top of the drum.

    Put pressurized air into barrel.

    Open ball valve.

    Fill jugs.

    Zero effort.

We would fill all the fuel in a drum in about 15 minutes...or less.

This wouldn't matter to me, but what about the guys that have to go through fuel check? Wouldn't the compressed air have enough moisture in it to contaminate the fuel? I know my compressor probably would......lol.

    pump

I use the air pump from northern tool also. not sure if it helps but i put a water/junk trap in the line just before it plugs to the barrel.

I also drain the compressor regularly and have a larger water trap on the compressor outlet. probably still getting some moisture but i do my best to keep it out.

    Fuel transfer

    Didn't know, Didn't care...
Owners shop, VERY clean and dry air.
We were running 100% straight from the drum.
