Torque Spec ARP flywheel bolts 1/2-20

    Unable to find the spec or part number on ARP website. pretty sure they are the 8740 alloy.

    Torque with Loctite .. ARP 1/2-20 flywheel bolts. 100 ft lbs ?

    I think we torque ours to 115.

    I was told 100 ft lbs for the hemi.

    We use a flex plate , so the torque could be different on a flywheel/ clutch set-up

    Run 135 LBS with Red Loctite.

    Not sure where I came up with it but 135 with red locktite just feels right with the torque wrench so that's the torque number that we have always used...

    Just remembering back when I first switched to a hemi and used a Reactor aluminum flexplate with Lencodrive - the instructions said "torque to 75 ft. Lbs." So I followed the instructions and that was before I found out that Locktite was your friend on these kind of cars...after a few events bolts backed out and sheared every one of them off...the 75 was for smaller Chevy bolt not the Hemi....lesson learned
