Call John Lombardo, Jr. at his Napa Auto Store in Brea. He stocks popular NGK plugs and sells them for a good price to racers.

What kind of plugs on eBay? R5671-10 or R6061-10 or what. I believe we are all talking about the R6061 plugs.

5671's are the big block Chevy plugs. That price is about what you can find them anywhere for. However..... The 6061 number is the expensive hemi plug, and for the life of me I don't understand why they retail for double the price of a 5671. It's not like they are gold plated or have some rare mineral in them. I far as I can tell they are the same , except the 5671 has a longer ground strap. I think it's like diesel fuel..... They know we need them and jack the price up accordingly , same as oil companies do with diesel for truckers. Trucks can't be parked to protest so they get screwed.

I agree. They are both specified as "R" plugs meaning Race. Can't understand the difference in price other than they can get away with it. No need to use a R6061 unless you are really pushing the envelope. Sometimes it is safer to see the long ground strap of the 5671 getting nipped than waiting for the 6061 short strap getting nipped

Yes the cadmium burns the same but the timing line or "blue line" will fall in a different point on the 6061 because the ground strap is shorter so it doesn't heat up as much.

    plugs

Please keep in mind there's a reason why the "source" isn't allowed to be mentioned here. It isn't just because they don't advertise here, it's because after talking to them personally, they waited for me to be gone to a race to post a "print this ad because it will be deleted" for their business.

Where I'm from we call that chickenshit. That's why the owner of that company and his company are on the short list of lifetime bans from my website. Their actions speak volumes.

There are plenty of reputable companies that do and don't advertise here.

If it's all the same, I'd ask people to quit "hey send me a pm on where to get the plugs." It's just giving him free advertising. I could just delete this whole thread, but I respect those of you who post on here too much to do that.
