I did a little upside down action on the track. The top corner of the hat hit the pavement which crushed I hole of the injector. It looks like minimal damage - a couple of cracks and some separation, I'm pretty sure I can get all the pieced back in place. Do I have to use a specific carbon fiber resin or will any resin work.
My other option is to send it off to someone to repair but I've searched and can't seem to find anyone that has experience doing so. I have a friend that is experienced in fiberglass that is willing to give it a try.
Anyone have any luck with repairs?

Just went through this I used the wrong resin the first time and it failed.
Use west systems 105 resin and 205 hardener. Works tits and holds up to methanol.
You may want to machine out hat and make new butterflies. Westling machine in Milaca MN did mine. then coat with resin buff and measure for butterflies.
    Hope this helps.

You may want to contact Don Geradot in Monroeville, IN. He can work with troubles like these. Geradot Performance Products.
