are you guys running screens in AN fittings in valve cover return lines?
If so what screen size. I have a dry sump system and I am using -12s now.
    Thanks for the help.

    Screens

With a hemi we don't pull oil from the valve covers
The p and p pumps only pull from the pan.

    Not sure what you mean?
Are you returning the oil back to the oil tank
Or are you talking about the puke tank?
If to the puke tank ?
Don't know about anyone else, But NO

    Scavange in valve covers

We run two #12 scavenge lines to the valve covers but do not use screens/filters.

Why would you want to have screens in the lines from the valve covers?

ok with my turbo hemi we run a belt driven 7 stage pump
we pull oil from two places in the pan, each turbo, and each head,= 6 scavange

we use 10s on the heads we put screens in as when we diddnt the pump would pull valve spring tails ect and jam the pump and throw the belt
we actuly fit the screens over the drain holes in the head but they are regular -10 cones
iv got no idea why you would have them in the covers they would be too high unless there is an internal tube system?

    does that help??

    No screens needed...

Keep the fitting just high enough in the valve cover so it wont suck any valve springs ends, etc, down. The drain backs need to get most of the oil out of the heads, not all of it. You don't want it totally empty...believe me!
