BBC 14/71 60* delta opening (not front discharge).
    Summer bros front mag drive.

Due to new car I have some options available to do this correct this time.

    1. How far should I set it back?
a)Have seen setback plates that are 2 inches (are these just to get the front discharge blowers back to the std manifold location.)

b)Should I try and get the center of the delta over the center of the manifold like 4bl carb. this would be a 5 inch setback to the std location on my manifold (indy)

c)assumeing that i go for the 5 inch setback that would require a 8 inch snout plus an inch to clear mag drive = 9 inch long. I have seen 8 inch snouts for sale but not 9. if 8 is easier to get would it really matter if the blower is forward that inch (4 inch setback)

    d) is this worth the effort?

    2. how do I tell if it is a littlefield or moonyham blower (have measuremments if required) Has moonyham gear\bearing plates but was told that it is a littlefield case\rotors??? Only reason I ask is that I have heard that there is a 1 inch differance between there locating bolt holes??.
Which rotors were not so good K? and are they 60* or only 120*?

sorry you couldn't get a hold of me on fri, we close at 1:00 on fri

we have 4-5-6-7 and 8 5/8 inch snouts available, as far as benefits of setting the blower back, it does even the nozzles, doesn't increase power, the setback plates that we make are 2 1/4 setback for our (retro) blowers, but we do have blank plates with stud holes drilled, but no opening, so you could put the opening where you like.
hopes this helps you,any other questions give me a call, I'm there from 6-4 mon-thurs 6-1 on fri

    Andy,
    Thanks for the reply.
Kind of guessed that Friday arvo was an early mark for you when it rang out.
I will give you a call Monday to discuss.
