Darren;;;;on your kill switch i'm seeing it as a toggle switch..does it go to a relay or just from mag to ground..i was asking on another theard what amp toogle switch i needed to use and a few said not good ideal because contacts to close togeather and could jump across and cause a no start..makes since..if you are useing a relay then couldn't i just use a ford starter soliard as a relay?

    kill

I had my kill switch mounted on the top of the steering wheel. Just made a bracket on top for the big red mallory deal.

Ford solinoids are normally open and that would mean you need power to shut the engine off. Not a great situation IMO, to many chances for a failure. Use a normally closed so you need power to start the engine and in a resting state the engine is off and contacts are closed (to ground) Plus in a failure situation(contacts welded) the engine won't start. (fails safe)

Don....i just use a 30 amp toggle switch, use one with wide contacts....shouldn't have a problem. put it somewhere that you can't accidentally kill the motor....sometimes the steering wheel will get kinda busy.
