    As bad as this week has been, I would still like to wish one of the true legends of the alcohol ranks, Ora Vasquez, a happy 80th birthday. There should be a release in the news section soon.

    Good talking to you the other day Ora, Happy Birthday from Allen Racing, Artie Kay and the girls, Still wish you could be my next door neighbor. We would have lots of fun in shop, Oh yeah. Chuck still hated picking you up from the airport and then going to a race track he knew he was going to work his ass off until the crew got there that weekend. We hope to make it out west some time! anyway Happy 80th Birthday

    I made the font bigger because I know you are a little hard of hearing. Happy 80th, my friend.

    For those of you who only know Ora casually, you may not know just how competitive Ora really is. I've seen a side of Ora that few others have seen. When you shut the trailer door for one of those "conversations" with him it is very apparent that the man knows his stuff and is able to challenge you in a way few others can. He is quietly an extremely intense thinker who isn't afraid to put it out there. He's an innovator, creator, and very approachable. Best of all he has a great sense of humor, and he's my friend.

    Happy 80th. May the next 80 be just as exciting!

    I am honored to call you my friend. In the short time we worked together, I learned so much from you, more than you'll ever know. Like you and I talked about one time, they have a cure for cancer and they have a cure for drugs, but there is no cure for racing.
