I don't know how many of you are in the same situation that we were on the puke tank rule change. Can't really afford a carbon fiber tank but I have found a company that has tooled up and fabing a beautiful aluminum one with all the mounts, drain, inlets and outlets and baffels. Meets the new NHRA requirments and is under 600 dollars. I would be more than happy to give you more info if you are interested.

    puke tank for TAD

If this is NHRA accepted for TAD, I think you could sell quite a few of them.

    aluminum versus CF

Just make sure NHRA approves the internal and external design. I myself haven't used a aluminum tank since the 30th repair job on the one that came on the 2001 Hadman car. Welded sheet aluminum does live nearly as long as carbon fiber, and weighs more. If you have to cut the tank apart to repair the internal welded baffles a couple times, it'll ruin your year. Not a rich man, but a stronger lighter tank for an additional $800 seems like a bargain.
Good luck on whichever route you take,
    Marty

PS. That is also about what Division 4 wants you to pay to put on the show at one divisional race.

I am no longer involved with the sales of this puke tank.

    puke tank

I did contact Brad Williams regarding the tank that Bob Holley referred to, he sent me pics, it is a real nice peice of work, and probably worth all the asking price... it's $750 + the ride, not 'under $600'.

I also think that if one bought a $69 aluminum air tank from Jegs, made a few simple mods to it, it should work well too.
