I have a blown alky small block that I only run down the track. Evrey day I think about making my car run on gas so I can run it on the street. But there is a lot more to it than changing fuel ( you know what i mean). we are talking about efi shit here, cr, cam and lots of others. is it worth it if your running slower than 8:50.I Know this is a top alky web site but should I build a car for the strip and have a car for the street or have one car for it all.

I have seen several street - strip blown cars setup for E-85. None of them were efi though.

I have also heard the 85%-15% mix is very seldom correct which makes it a pain in the ass to race with.

If I remember correctly E-85 is no more than 85% and no less than 70% ethanol.. thats a pretty wide range..

Leave it on Alky dude:D YOU know you'll be disapointed when it runs on stinkin' gas (petrol downunder, and it is SHIT:eek:) I know of a few gas blown engines and they are a real pain in the ass to tune and keep in-tune.
You can't run any overdrive worth talking of, and they just ain't the same.
