I would not doubt the 2 week deal at all.
Vern has connections. That is for sure. And everyone has a few older junk bodies laying around. He will find one and have it on until he can get a nice one. (That is just my guess though.)
Sorry to hear about the fire though. I heard it was a bad one!

I was there, saw the entire thing. Rare to see an alcohol car light up like that. I was also in the pits when the car came back, and the team was approached to run someone elses body, to which one of Moats crew guys replied-"Nah..the chassis is junk.."
Sounded to me like they need more then a body.

my bet is moats will be in denver. the body may not be painted the same black and red but it will have kendall on the side. vern is a tough old bird, this guy has crashed more race cars then most of us have owned and driven daily. oh yea and can still run with the best of them.

The Team is getting a Body fitted on a new chassis later this week. Vern is a bit sore and has some bruises from what I was told but the Kendall Team will back at the track very soon.
